Managing OVAL requires substantial work on an ongoing basis. This includes maintaining the OVAL Language and OVAL Repository; managing the enrollment and activities of the OVAL Board; moderating community input on the OVAL Discussion Lists; working with the numerous software vendors and other security industry organizations to make their information security products and/or services OVAL-Compatible; and maintaining the many features of the publicly available OVAL Web site.
