BACKGROUND: The 9 new Mac OSX Tests were proposed by David Solin to authoritatively report on the OS' new features. This would include the authorizationdb_test, corestorage_test, gatekeeper_test, keychain_test, launchd_test, rlimit_test, softwareupdate_test, systemprofiler_test, and systemsetup_test. The UNIX Symlink test was also proposed by David Solin to provide a solution to querying canonical paths. Previously, there was no way to recursively examine the destination for symbolic links. https://github.com/OVALProject/Sandbox/blob/master/x-macos-definitions-schema.xsd https://github.com/OVALProject/Sandbox/blob/master/x-macos-system-characteristics-schema.xsd https://github.com/OVALProject/Sandbox/blob/master/x-unix-definitions-schema.xsd https://github.com/OVALProject/Sandbox/blob/master/x-unix-system-characteristics-schema.xsd
