BACKGROUND:

In late 2013 Mike Peck of MITRE developed initial schemas[1] to assess the proprietary mobile device management 
settings on Apple iOS devices. These schemas have been discussed through the OVAL and SCAP-on-Apple communities. 
Sample content has been created to demonstrate both the usage of this new platform schema as well as it’s 
applicability towards STIG automation.
